Hello everyone, my name is Alan Laudico, Co-Coordinator for the Middle School Activity Nights. I have lived in Western New York all my life and am a graduate from the University of Buffalo. I am currently finishing my Masters Degree at Buffalo State College for secondary math education. I have worked for the Town of Amherst Youth and Recreation Department since 2006 and the Amherst Youth Foundation since 2007 and am now currently a director of the summer camp and the after school program (respectfully). I am still very much into sports. In high school I participated in football and was the captain of the wrestling team and currently I am getting involved in as many recreational sports as possible. I have always enjoyed staying active and giving back to the community that I grew up in as much as possible. I am very excited to continue the development of our activity nights and hope to see you all there!
I have always tried to give 110% to everything I do and never quit no matter how tough the odds are. I have always been a huge Rocky fan and feel that this quote sums up my feelings towards self motivation.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of 1him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!"   - Rocky Balboa
